Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Mold Studio at moldstudio.app (the “Service”), operated by Mold Studio. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Mold Studio is a browser-based tool that generates print-ready two-part molds from STL files. You may upload a model, configure mold settings, and download STL outputs. Certain features (including silicone molds when payments are enabled) require prepaid credits or a Lifetime licence. Box and form-fitting molds remain available without payment unless we state otherwise on the site.

2. Merchant of Record and payments

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our authorised reseller and Merchant of Record. Purchases are made under Lemon Squeezy’s buyer terms. Prices are shown in USD. We do not store your full payment card details.

3. Credits

• A credit (also called a mold coin) is a prepaid unit that unlocks one successful generation of a paid feature (for example a silicone mold).
• Credit packs are one-time purchases. Credits do not expire while the Service operates.
• Credits are personal, non-transferable, and have no cash value except as required for refunds under these Terms or applicable law.

4. Refund policy

Because credits and Lifetime access are digital products delivered immediately:

• If you have purchased a credit pack and have not used any credit from that purchase, you may request a full refund within 14 days of the purchase date by emailing support@moldstudio.app with your order email and licence key (or Lemon Squeezy order ID).
• Once any credit from that purchase has been consumed on a successful generation, that purchase is non-refundable, except where Lemon Squeezy or applicable law requires otherwise.
• Lifetime purchases: you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase if you have not used the Lifetime licence for any paid generation. After first use, Lifetime is non-refundable except as required by law or Lemon Squeezy’s policies.
• Refunds are processed through Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record.

5. Lifetime licence — fair use

A Lifetime licence grants ongoing access to paid features for as long as Mold Studio operates, subject to fair use:

• Up to 50 mold generations per calendar month under a Lifetime licence;
• Individual, non-automated use only (no bots, bulk pipelines, or resale of access);
• We may throttle, suspend, or terminate a Lifetime licence that clearly exceeds fair use or is shared commercially.

6. If the Service shuts down

If we discontinue Mold Studio permanently, we will post notice on the website and, where we have an email address for you (for example from a purchase or licence recovery), attempt to notify you at least 30 days before access ends. Unused credits from purchases made in the preceding 12 months will be refunded via Lemon Squeezy where practicable. Lifetime licensees will receive a refund processed through Lemon Squeezy for unused prepaid value consistent with Lemon Squeezy’s policies and applicable law, or continued access until the announced end date. We are not liable for molds you have already downloaded once the Service ends.

7. Your models and acceptable use

You retain ownership of models you upload. You confirm you have the rights to upload and process them. You must not upload illegal content, abuse the Service, circumvent credit or fair-use limits, or interfere with other users. We may suspend access for abuse or invalid licences.

8. Disclaimer

The Service and outputs are provided “as is.” Printability and cast quality depend on your model, printer, and materials. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability.
